Reflection...
What is HTML? An HTML is a page that can link you to other wbsites, but it can also include pictures graph and bullet point graph, and other media or informative items... It can include any type of background, font (as long as the viewers computer also has it) and more!
Why do we need HTML for creating web pages? We need HTML to create web pages because it allows us to put in backgrounds, fonts and more... and that is why we need to download the information using internet, because the user needs to send out the HTML pages, which will later be opened with Internet Explorer or Microsoft Fire Fox or other programs...
Did you find HTML a good option for creating your digital portfolio? Yes I do think that this was good, because it was really easily understood, quickly made and very well. It also provided a good lesson so that people could learn how to make webs in the future!

What do you think about your first site created? What are the strengths, what could you have done better? I thought that the website would be a fun and usefull lesson for the future. It had a lot of strengths because it provide an easy-access to our files on the schools computer! Teacher, students and others could see what you're up to at school and how your progress!

Working WIth Blogs!
What is a blog? A blog, in my opinion, is a portable and accessable link, that can contain information, media and social acitvities, such as; files, videos and games. It can access files on computers that are not easily portable. They allow you to look at your files from any point or position in the world! but they also use security so that other people can't steal from you, plant viruses or even post bad things that could be very offensive
Why do we use blogs? We use blogs because they are an alternitve form of other ways to share your personal files. The people that use it offen find that carrying a flash-drive around and putting the files on teachers computers cna be very frustrating. Espacially when you loose your flash drive. The blog can never get lost, and it has an unlimited amount of memory, which is another advantage.
Did you find a blog a good option for communicating with teachers and peers? Yes, I find it one of the greatest invenstions of the century. Without blogs, many kids could be in detention, because their flash-drives got lost, or becuase they could not access their computer in school. The blog is a healthy alternitive to other ways to get information to teachers, students, and friends. Whether you are at home or at school, other people can access your files from miles away and that is the main advantage. They may also include fun activities that help you learn, or maybe have some media that you really wanted see. Like pictures, they are always fun, but they can't always be seen, but once they are on the blog, just click and your done... And that is why blogs are safe, and realiable form to keep your files safe and accessable.

What is a Digital Portfolio?
What is a digital portfolio..? A digital portfolio is a web page that includes: pictures and images, videos and text. These are to show and let the followers know what is going on in your life and at school or work. An advantage of a digital portfolio is that you can access it in multiple places. If you have files on a school or work that are to remain on that computer or the computer is not portable, then you put the files on a link or on the actual webpage. The links and/ or files are available to you at home or at other areas. One disadvantage of a digital portfolio is that it is public and anyone can view it! This could be a problem because some personal files could be viewed without will.
I have looked at some sites and links and reviewed them, here is the first: Creating a Digital Portfolio. It talks about the features and advantages of digital portfolios. It talks about how they are made, what they represent and the tasks that can be performed. The next digital porfolio is called: Electronic Portfolios: Students, Teachers, and Life Long Learners. This talks about what they are and how they are made. But not only that it tells you what and how, it also tells you about who and where. This link also lists more links to self-made portfolios and more. This is also a VERY helpfull site. The last site is a real portfolio named: Richer Picture - Sample Porfolios. This lists a number of links that include senior and junior school. One of the sites was made by a little girl is 4-5th Grade and I think that she did an outstading job, by posting work, school and personal life. Many of her past projects have been put onto her website. All of these websites had colors that stand out from the rest of the page, yet making everything simple. These links were worth reading because they show that not only can old and smart people make digital portfolios but also young and simple, everyday people can. This has been a great expiernece for me and showed me that all people can be creative and smart.!
